Memory Verse Helps-Philippians 4:13

Here are some printables to help you children memorize this weeks Memory Verse, Philippians 4:13.

We use these Memory Verse Printables in addition to reading daily from our Jesus Storybook Bible.  Once I print them out I laminate them with our laminator and keep them for future use.  This also lets us use the pieces over and over again, which comes in really handy with the puzzles!   If you don’t have a laminator I would put them on card stock, or use the Crayola Activity Center.

You can download all of the printables, including the devotional, HERE.

Here is what is included in the download:

Memory Verse Card and Devotional: Use this card daily during your calendar time to work on memorization.

Memory Verse Puzzle and Cutting Practice:  This puzzle fits together to form this weeks memory verse.

Memory Verse Color Order and Cutting Practice: Using color order arrange the verse.

image

Memory Verse Writing Practice: With this you can practice the verse alone, or practice the verse and color a picture.

We hope you enjoy these printables and the devotional!

Number Match Puzzles: Numbers 1-20
These will work on counting and number recognition.  I made them two separate downloads so if your kiddo isn’t ready for all of them you can print off what you need!

Zoo Center Ideas

This week we are expanding our Zoo Theme printables.

To get you started, I’ve have some fabulous resources that can be use in independent centers.

Magnet Pages

Another set of magnet pages for you.  Includes several zoo animals that are included in our unit this week.

Zoo Magnet Pages 02  Zoo Magnet Pages
Click to Download 6 magnet pages.

You can use several different things with your magnet pages. Do-a-Dot Paints work great, but then you’ll only get one use out of them.  I recommend laminating the pages and using Bingo Chips, Power Magnets or homemade pom-pom magnets with them.

Pretend Play

We are loving our miniatures that we found at Hobby Lobby.  Make sure and use the 40% one item coupon that they usually send twice a month to their email subscribers.  You can also purchase them through Amazon.

You can use them in a variety of ways, such as in a sensory bin or even as a counting manipulative.  My son just loves to play with them and if I only pull them out at a specific time it keeps him well entertained.

Stamping

Work on letter recognition with our Stamping Strips.  To do this activity you will need uppercase or lowercase stamps and an ink pad.
